You know the problem with trying to do the best job possible? Some people just aren't on the same page with that. Every time you think you might have something good going, someone flakes out. We are serious about what we're trying to do. We pick good songs, not easy songs that everyone can pick up real quick. We don't want to play the same songs as everyone else because we take pride in trying to play them as well as the original bands that wrote the songs. Yes, this is not an easy task. What's the sense of accomplishing any easy task? Once again we are looking for a GOOD drummer. Someone that can play the majority of the songs on our cover song list. And yes, Matt Clause flaked out again when we almost had enough material to play out. Just - POOF - no hear from Matt again. What a waste. We have Ray back for now, hopefully for the long haul. Then Jay left, so, now we look for a GOOD drummer. We will not compromise and play sub-standard 3 chord bar band tunes, not gonna happen. We don't work that way. Go listen to someone else if you want that. I will keep you updated on what's next. For now, we're behind the eight ball.

The Show That Got Away

The show I'm referring to is the Liedkrantz show in February. We were tennatively slated to be on the bill but got word that we are too heavy for the show this year (2008). I imagine there are other good bands that were dropped from the show for the same reason. The unusual thing about this is that we were judged as one of the most liked bands last year. Since this is a benefit show it's not that much of a concern as a curiosity to me.
